The story of the...

Deep in the cozy forgotten folds of the world live the Thrumlings.No one knows exactly where they came from. Weavers whisper they were spun from old threads and loving thoughts. Some say a Thrumling is made every time a mistake is unravelled with grace. Others say they appear when you see the worth in forgotten and discarded things.Small as a plum, these woolen creatures are felted together by magic, memory, and a little mystery. They speak in rhythmic hums and curious wiggles, somehow knowing when you need something small and soft to keep you company.Thrumlings are the quiet guardians of contradictions - unspeaking and empathetic, soft and resilient, ancient and youthful. They delight in their own company and that of their kin, offering themselves as pocket-sized companions for your strangest days.All they ask in return? A warm place to rest - and the promise you’ll keep a bit of wonder close at hand.

No. 01: Bernard
* The Charmkeeper *

Habitat: The stone cave cottage tucked into the misty ridge of WoolglenPersonality: Grumbly • Solitary • Gentle-heartedBernard prefers the quiet rustle of moss over chitchat and the company of charms over crowds. While they may appear prickly (and may, in fact, huff audibly when approached), Bernard is a deeply loyal and protective soul. Their cave glows with quiet magic and tiny silver relics from Thrumlings past and present—each one kept safe under their careful watch.

Please note: to adopt Bernard, there is a fee of $130 CAD (this includes safe transportation for the Thrumling).

No. 02: Pip
* The Curious Dreamer *

Habitat: A star-dusted gossamer hideaway within the drifting fogs of WoolglenPersonality: Inquisitive • Wide-eyed • Cheerfully forgetfulPip is a wanderer of wonder - the type of Thrumling who pauses mid-step to marvel at a pebble, a shadow, or the way dandelion fluff dances. They often start sentences with “Did you know…” and then forget what they were saying halfway through. Easily distracted, frequently delighted, Pip is the youngest spirit in any room, even if they’re not the youngest by age. Fun fact - Pip can locate any misplaced object by accidentally tripping over it within 10 minutes.

LikesDislikes

No. 03: Griffin
* The Alchemist *

Habitat: A stripey maximalist nook within the oldest oak in Woolglen, filled with half-finished projectsPersonality: Inventive • Intense • Endearingly NeuroticGriffin is the kind of Thrumling who stays up late weaving meaning from moonlight and half-remembered dreams. Part artist, part alchemist, part philosopher, they’re always tinkering - mixing odd paints, testing new ideas, or scribbling thoughts in crooked notebooks. Though easily flustered when things don’t go as planned, Griffin has a deep, unwavering heart and can be found fixing or inventing new treasures for the community of Woolglen.

LikesDislikes

No. 04: Beatrix
* The Whisperer of Wild Things *

Habitat: A calm sun-dappled clearing where animals often gather to restPersonality: Peaceful • Warm-Hearted • HarmoniousBeatrix is the quiet calm after a storm. When tempers flare or feelings knot up, she’s the one who tilts her head, listens fully, and somehow smooths everything out with a single, thoughtful phrase. Though she loves to share knowledge about animals, she’s less of a teacher and more of a gentle companion - walking with the creatures of Woolglen as if they’ve known each other forever.

LikesDislikes
The hum of beesHarsh voices
Kind words spoken softlySeeing someone feel left out

Beatrix has a gift for calming even the most anxious hearts — Thrumling or otherwise — with her soothing voice and gentle touch. Some say Beatrix can “speak” to animals, though she claims it’s simply about listening to what they’re already saying.

Habitat: A starlit purple tower, where Woolglen dances beneath a mirrored moonPersonality: Steady • Soulful • Quietly WarmOne half of the Mystical Musicians of Woolglen, Otis is the heartbeat of the twins. They ground Ella’s wild energy with their slow, rolling rhythms. They’re the kind who listens to the world first - the wind through the reeds, the creak of branches and then responds with a hum or a soft beat on their log drum. Though they speak few words, their quiet gaze and thoughtful pauses often say more than enough.

They’re the Thrumling who knows which seeds will thrive and which weeds are worth keeping (because every plant has a story). Though they’re not a leader in name, the others look to Fable when they’re lost - not for answers, but for perspective. With a chuckle, a gentle nudge, or a riddle that makes you think, Fable can turn worry into wonder.

LikesDislikes
